Denise N. Upshaw is a criminal justice reform advocate, published author, mentor, and more. Denise has 15 years of experience in criminal justice policy, where she has designed, funded, implemented, and evaluated justice programs focused on improving jail conditions and enhancing outcomes for justice-involved youth. Her leadership in these areas, combined with her personal experiences, fueled her passion for helping others overcome adversity and thrive. As a result, Denise created THRIVELife, LLC in 2024. Through both her personal and professional endeavors, Denise continues to inspire individuals to lead lives of purpose, growth, and well-being.
